Our Services

Summit Guidance Center provides an array of services and programs including outpatient clinics, community-based support and rehabilitative programs, hospital liaison services, intensive family services, and long-term support. Services are available to anyone.

Clinic-Based Services

Summit Guidance Center offers outpatient mental health services in the Twin Cities area.  At each of its locations, Summit Guidance Center provides psychotherapy and skills training for young adults, older adults, adolescents, and children.

In-Home Services

Summit Guidance Center offers quality in-home psychological and behavioral services for young adults, older adults, adolescents, and children who may have emotional, behavioral, or organic disorders.  Summit Guidance Center is committed to providing on-site, flexible, comprehensive, and cost-effective services in a timely manner utilizing a variety of approaches, including cognitive behavioral systems, psychodynamics, existentialism, and functional family therapy.  Summit Guidance Center coordinates closely with referral sources such as case managers or county social services personnel.

Summit Guidance Center offers holoistic, culturally-sensitive, bilingual services that support the mental health and well-being of refugee and immigrant clients who have multiple layers of complex needs. We integrate traditional services such as clinical mental health counseling and medication management with culturally/spiritually tailored intervention strategies co-facilitated by traditional healers.  Summit Guidance Center has mental health professionals who speak Somali,Hmong, Arabic, Amharic, Oromo, and English.
